1. CN Tower
The CN Tower was opened to the public in 1975. The structure is 553.33 metres tall and Canada’s most recognizable in the country. Back in 1995, The American Society of Civil Engineers put the CN Tower on the prestigious list of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.No longer the tallest free standing structure in the world, a proud title held for 34 years until the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was build in 2007. Even though the CN Tower is no longer the tallest, it still remains the tallest structure in North America, beating out One World Trade Centre by less than 7 metres.
If you have the chance to visit the CN Tower, dare to try the “EdgeWalk” where you will be able to experience the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk outside at 356 meters above the ground.
At the observation area, you can test your wits and walk on the Glass Floor where you will see straight down 342 meters.
Of course, if you want a dine on top of the world, make your reservations at the 360 Restaurant. One of the top restaurants in Toronto happens to be 350 meters up and the restaurant revolves 360 so that your view constantly changes as you dine.

2. Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)
Opened in 1914, the ROM remains Canada’s largest museum of natural history and world cultures. Conveniently located in the downtown area and can easily take a full day to walk through. If you want to learn about dinosaurs, ancient civilizations and Canadian history, there is something here for everyone. in 2007, the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal was opened and this distinct architectural achievement ushered in a new chapter for the museum and a recognizable symbol of our city.

3. Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO)
Founded in 1900 the AGO is recognized as one of the premiere galleries in North America. With a collection of more than 90,000 works of art and has one of the best collections of Canadian art for visitors to enjoy. Along with renowned Canadian artists, the gallery has masterpieces from well known artists from Europe which include Vincent van Gogh, Picasso and Claud Monet. A visit to the AGO can easily take a full day for you to explore and with FRANK restaurant right in the building, you can comfortably stay from open to close.

4. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
Visit Canada’s largest indoor aquarium where you will see over 16,000 aquatic animals that features sharks, sting rays, jelly fish and much more. Great for all ages and fully accessible. They even have a “Sleep with the Sharks” program where you can sleep over at the aquarium. They also have a Friday Night Jazz where you can enjoy live music with the sharks. 5. Casa Loma
There really isn’t anything quite like Casa Loma. Completed in 1914, it was the private residence of Sir Henry Pellet and his wife, Lady Mary. This Gothic Revival castle is the only landmark castle in North America and a top destination for tourists. There are always special events at the castle that are often open to the public so check the website to see if there is something going on when you’re visiting.

6. Toronto Zoo
Fun for the whole family, the Toronto Zoo is a popular destination for visitors and locals alike. With over 5,000 animals to see and over 10 kilometres of walking trails to explore, there is much to see and do. The feature attraction right now is the Grand Panda Experience where you can visit the state-of-the-art Panda Interactive Centre and meet Jia Panpan and Jia Yueyue, Canada’s only giant panda cubs.

7. Ontario Science Centre
A great place to visit for the whole family where you can have hands-on experience with science. Opene1969, the Science Centre has been delighted visitors with science experiences, interactive exhibitions and programs that explore the world and beyond. Another great attraction at the Science Centre is the OMNIMAX Theatre which is an IMAX experience where you can watch spectacular films.
